Rehearsals are mandatory for any student in an Academy performance. Each student must be at every rehearsal, students who miss a rehearsal without a written excused absence from the Director will be replaced in the performance regardless of costumes purchased, previous rehearsals or other. An un-excused absence is not acceptable. Emergency Absence - If you find your self in a true emergency situation prior to a scheduled rehearsal please call the Director Andrew Guilfoil immediately. Any true emergency may be excused with notice. Obtaining an excused absence requires an absence form be filled out with the requested date and times you will be gone. Please give all absence Forms to Andrew Guilfoil. Once the Absence Form is reviewed it will be accepted or denied and returned to you. Denial- there are certain times such as last tech, rehearsals that may be denied as these are critical rehearsals that affect the entire group and performance. I encourage each student to check the rehearsal schedule before making other plans or committing to a performance.
